Death and the Dancing Footman ~ Ngaio Marsh

I went what I call "charity shop hopping" today and bought 3 books . I can't recall the name of the first shop but it was just an old-school junk shop, full of all different tat for sale. It was rather dusty and smelly and felt grotty inside. As soon as I got home I sprayed this book with an anti-bacterial cleaning spray. Paranoid of germs, who me?

Look at the cover though:

That type! That photo! Recently I have been buying more pulp horror, so I'm sure I will enjoy this but even if I don't it won't matter as it was only 20p.

The other shop I bought from was the British Heart Foundation.

I had a feeling I already had the Ngaio Marsh one - and I did - but oh well, it was only £1!

I picked up the Monster Museum anthology because the stories were chosen by Alfred Hitchcock and I haven't read any of them, or at least I don't recall so. (The more anthologies you own, the harder it is to find ones where you haven't read half of the stories within.) It was £2. Both of these books are in mint condition. The binding is still so tight, I don't think they've ever been opened or read, which is both a shame and yet a good thing for me!
